Art Conservation Framers was established in 1986 by the husband and wife team of Tony Rich and Ruth Hopkins.  Ruth is an established artist, framer and jewellery designer and Tony, an experienced gilder, frame restorer and conservation framer. Tony is also a Founding Member and Past President of the Picture Framers Guild of Victoria.  Youngest son Reuben Rich joined the team in 1998 and has since successfully completed his apprenticeship with a nomination for Student of the Year at Box Hill College. He has also won the Victorian Furnishing Industry Training Award for picture framing.  Josephine Neil, an artisan with more than 20 years experience in framing  is the Workshop Manager.

is known for their philosophy of integrity and absolute commitment to the care of artwork. They have  a deep respect for craftsmanship and the promotion of only the finest quality materials & products. Their  business is also dedicated to environmentally sustainable practices including (but not limited to) the sourcing of sustainable timbers, the restoration of old timbers & frames, reducing waste and recycling where possible.
